Here is a list of the first names that we're presently considering, in alphabetical order. Comment on which ones you like or don't like, and why. The middle name will probably be Rose, after her dad's grandmother.

I used to wish my name was Anya, so I like that as well.
But I think they would all be lovely.
I like in no particular order:
Miriam, Maia (how are you going to pronounce this one - I know 3 Maia's who all pronouce it differently (My-a, etc), Evelina, Amalia, Eleanor, Eliana, Lily and Slyvia.
Don't like Stella - I think of the Woody Allen? line "STELLA" when I read/hear it - I think it was from God.
But with any of the names - if you want it said a particular way and not another be forewarned that teachers/etc don't always get it if that matters.
I like Lily especially teamed with Rose. I like Amalia second
so Irene - are you stealing the names of Daniel's weasels?
It's very possible :-) Right now Annika is leading, closely followed by Maia, Amalia, and Miriam. But I've changed my mind about several names that were near the top previously, and probably will a few more times. Also, I won't commit to a name until I get a chance to see her.
that's probably a very good idea.
